The photos show a crocodile clamping its teeth down and shaking the smaller croc. The attack happened over the space of two hours. Scheepers, from Johannesburg, said she was on an eight-day trip to Skukuza, the main camp in Kruger, where they stayed in the camping area. She said: ‘As we were on our way from Lower-Sable, passing Sunset Dam, I noticed something strange and asked my friend if he would reverse…

Researchers have discovered a new species of prehistoric crocodile dubbed the ‘swamp king’ that once terrorised giant Queensland marsupials. A well-preserved fossil skull dug up in the 1980s near the remote outback town of Chinchilla, Queensland, turned out to be the missing clue for PhD student Jorgo Ristevski who identified the extinct crocodylian as part of his thesis. Mr Ristevski said the Swamp King, officially named Paludirex Vincenti, would have been one of the top predators of southeast Queensland during the Pliocene Epoch, between 5.3 and 2.6 million years ago. The creature preyed on large prehistoric kangaroos and the extinct giant…

Former striker Gabriel Agbonlahor thinks that Erling Haaland contributes too little to Man City’s play in the 2022/23 season. “I want to see Man City play without Haaland in the team. In the next matches, they can use the same tactics as the 2021/22 season. I also want to see Phil Foden play a virtual striker, on the left wing is Jack Grealish and the right wing is Riyad Mahrez. In midfield, my choices are Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri,” Agbonlahor shared on Sport Bible on January 28. “You can see Man City will play better without Haaland. In…

There is surely no doubt who the individual star of the Premier League has been so far this season. Manchester City’s acquisition of Erling Braut Haaland always seemed like it would be a major success, and that is how it has proved. The Norwegian striker has netted 25 Premier League goals already this season, meaning he is nine goals ahead of Harry Kane in the race to win the Golden Boot. It’s a lead that seems unassailable as long as he does not suffer a serious injury. There have been some arguments that when Haaland is not scoring, though, City…

A shadowy teaser gives us an idea of what to expect. Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser image of the facelifted GLE-Class SUV and Coupe ahead of the reveal on January 31. The front end has gained several changes, chief among which are slimmer headlights with a revised DRL design. It appears the midsize SUV will gain the brand’s star grille, as worn by the revised CLA-Class models. We anticipate the German automaker will provide the high-riding luxury car with a subtly amended front bumper.…

Erling Haaland’s meager contribution in the Manchester derby on the night of January 14 can make Man City’s coach Pep Guardiola worried. 19 touches and 2 shots are what the Norwegian striker did against the MU defense in the 20th round of the Premier League on January 14. Haaland leading the Premier League top scorer list from the beginning of the tournament (21 goals) does not obscure the fact that the 22-year-old striker makes Man City’s system run less smoothly compared to recent seasons. Passive Haaland Haaland’s meager contribution at Old Trafford contrasts with his own performance in the first leg…
