In recent days, it has been widely reported that Harry Kane will leave Tottenham this summer when his contract will expire next year. Manchester United are said to have made Kane their number one summer transfer target but the England striker is attracting interest across Europe.
According to Foot Mercato, PSG has now emerged as one of the leading candidates in the signing of Harry Kane. They even opened negotiations with the 29-year-old striker’s representative. PSG sporting director Luis Campos is said to have met Kane’s entourage recently to propose a move to the Parc des Princes.
The England captain said in January that “there hasn’t been much talk” with Spurs about a new contract but the striker “will certainly have talks in the coming months”.
Sun Sport revealed, Man United have also contacted Kane about a potential summer transfer. And the Red Devils would be willing to significantly increase Kane’s current £200,000-a-week salary to own him.
The fact that Harry Kane is pursued by a series of big men in Europe is not surprising, because the level of the striker born in 1993 is undisputed. The 29-year-old striker is currently hunting Alan Shearer’s record for most Premier League goals with 210 goals, 50 goals behind the Newcastle legend.
Meanwhile, Spurs also may not want to let Kane go this summer and will demand £100m for their star striker.
