Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez seems to have a love affair with news headlines with the Uruguayan striker hogging the headlines ever since he joined the Reds from Benfica.
The 23-year-old is gearing up for his first season with the Anfield outfit and has already opened his goalscoring account in sensational fashion, banging an eyewatering four goals in 45 minutes.
Prior to his four-goal haul in Liverpool’s penultimate pre-season game against Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, the former Benfica hitman struggled to find his goalscoring boots in his previous games.

Nunez was subjected to serious scrutiny by rival fans for his bad luck in front of the goal but quickly banished any lingering doubts about his proficiency with a perfect response last week.
Currently in Austria, as Liverpool wraps up with pre-season, Nunez will hope the club’s last preparatory game against RB Salzburg will be the perfect prelude ahead of the season’s curtain raiser against Manchester City on Saturday, July 30.
He has managed to make the headlines once again but this time around due to his aesthetically pleasing right leg.
In a photo posted on Twitter, seen by Sports Brief, Nunez, who was clad in Liverpool’s training kits had his right leg captured by the lens of the camera – displaying his ‘work of art’ on his favourite leg.
The photo has since gone viral sparking a mixed reaction among social media users.
@urexp2me admired Nunez’s body art: “It’s true, it looks magnificent & he has a great 6 pack too. This must add 50m to his value. If he went to Pogbas barber and learnt how to dance he could even get sold for 500m next season.”
@Am10Talk tweeted: “I’ve said this before. Darwin Nunez is a player with a good pace, good dribbling, and good finishing but lacks smoothness. His game is sort of rough and not clean. That makes his link-up and hold-up pretty average. Attributes wise – Good player, Game sense wise- Could improve a lot.”

@Okoa_jahazi_ compared Nunez’s tattoo to that of Lionel Messi: “Messi’s left leg is the best work of art.”
