LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are ready for the Western Conference Finals, having emphatically beaten the Golden State Warriors to get there.
The series was a feisty one, and there were moments for both teams. The Lakers won their three games at home and ended up wrapping it up after six. Following Game 5, JaMychal Green took a shot at LeBron James and the Lakers about flopping. And King James shared his rebuke recently.

LeBron James is rarely one to pay much attention to what opponents are saying to him or his team, let alone role players. But it seems that this Warriors team and JaMychal Green may have gotten under his skin a bit.
The Golden State Warriors were favored and expected to win before the series began, so it’s easy to understand why James is a little frustrated. The Lakers had what it takes to overcome Stephen Curry’s greatness, and although his supporting cast wasn’t great, they were also expertly nullified by Los Angeles.
LeBron James didn’t definitively mention Green’s name, but the dots are not hard to connect in this case. Every team in the NBA has players that flop at times or exaggerate contact, and every one of them complains about others doing it. Ultimately, all that matters is who wins, and as it often has been, LeBron was the one to get the last laugh.

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Denver Nuggets in the 2020 Western Conference Finals in the Bubble. The Nuggets have revenge to consider during this matchup. What’s more, their role players are all performing at an elite level, unlike the Warriors in the last round. The team also takes on the personality of their superstar, which means one rarely hears about any Nuggets player chirping too much, as JaMychal Green did with LeBron James.
Anthony Davis and LeBron James are on a mission for more success, and they will want to get back to the NBA Finals. But this isn’t the same Nuggets side they beat a few years ago. Nikola Jokic and his teammates mean business, and it will be difficult for the Lakers to slow down the best team in the West this season. The series should be really exciting, and hopefully, some more sparks fly.
