The face of James Bond’s character has been changing over the years, and last in the line was the serious-faced Daniel Craig. Now the hunt is on for the upcoming James Bond film lead. MCU fans are rooting for Tom Hiddleston aka Loki, to be chosen as the new James Bond.
Daniel Craig as James Bond
For the past few years, actor Tom Hiddleston has been in the run for the next James Bond, because he is British, charming, handsome and of course white. Henry Cavill and Aaron Taylor-Johnson are also on the list of the probable new face of 007.
Why Tom Hiddleston is the perfect choice for the new James Bond?
Among the several speculated names for the replacement of Daniel Craig as 007 agent, Tom Hiddleston seems to be the top runner. There are numerous reasons to justify the choice; the first is his immaculate looks and gentlemanly persona, which can easily charm anyone.
Secondly, the co-producer of the series, Michael G Wilson shared that the character has to be beyond 30 years of age. The young actors who auditioned for the role lacked the gravitas, experience, and mental capacity for the role. However, Hiddleston is in his early 40s, and years of experience have helped him devour any role given to him.

Hence, being James Bond, he might add some sensitivity to the character that would make him fit into the present society.
Fans root for Tom Hiddleston as the new James Bond
Numerous fans of the Loki star took to Twitter to extend support to the actor to be chosen as the new James Bond.
Barbara Broccoli said in June 2022 that Bond 26 is not expected on screens until 2025, and presently it is in the pre-production stage. She said,
“We’re working out where to go with him, we’re talking that through. There isn’t a script and we can’t come up with one until we decide how we’re going to approach the next film because, really, it’s a reinvention of Bond. We’re reinventing who he is and that takes time. I’d say that filming is at least two years away.”
The identity of the new James Bond would be revealed soon, and until then speculations are rife.
