The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 to advance to the Western Conference Finals and bring to an end another chapter of a great rivalry.
This was the fifth time that LeBron James and Stephen Curry faced off in a series and the two men shared an embrace after it was all over. NBA fans reacted to this special moment.
One of them stated LeBron and Curry are the two GOATS of this generation.

A fan just wants everyone to appreciate these two greats.
A fan believes everyone should enjoy these two now, as the end isn’t too far away.
A fan believes their rivalry is like that of Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.
A fan is hoping this isn’t the final time they face off in the playoffs.
It wasn’t quite like the epic battles they had when LeBron was with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but it was still great to see these two face off. James wasn’t at his dominant best in this series but in this Game 6, he had 30 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals, and a block on 10-14 shooting.
Curry, meanwhile, had a game-high 32 points to go with 6 rebounds, 5 assists, a steal, and a block, but shot just 11-28 from the floor. Despite this round going in LeBron’s favor, Steph still holds a 3-2 edge and hopefully, we get to see them face off in the playoffs next year as well.

There is no doubt at this point, that the LeBron-Curry rivalry is the greatest of this generation. They have faced off in so many big moments by now and can potentially add more chapters in the upcoming years. Warriors owner Joe Lacob went as far as to say their rivalry is right up there with that of Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.
Head coach Steve Kerr also compared the two rivalries and thinks Steph and LeBron are pretty close. Kevin Garnett perhaps said it best, as he thinks we need to sit back and appreciate what we are getting to witness and we certainly should.
