In a recent ‘IMPAULSIVE’ podcast, Kevin Hart ignited past conflicts by talking about how Dwayne ‘The Rock‘ Johnson will probably never appear in Logan Paul’s podcast. Hart, who is a very close friend of Dwayne, talked about a lot of things on Paul’s podcast. They discussed entrepreneurship in detail and Paul was all praise for Hart.
Paul said, “Kev, but I do look to people like you and Dwayne [Johnson] even. You guys kind of paved the blueprint that exists now in this in this world that we’re doing. I mean, bro you’re, come on, you’re icon, you’re probably one of the biggest stars in the world right now. Definitely, the biggest guest we’ve ever
Hart responded, “I appreciate it. The one thing you guys should definitely realize, I think the one thing that we should just clear up right away is Dwayne would never do this. Yeah, because he’s not the same type of person.”
He further added, “And I’m not calling [him] the bad person in no way shape, or form but right like you guys like we’re saying stuff without saying.”
The question arises when Hart says that he is saying something without actually saying it, does he mean to talk about the rift between Dwayne and Paul? Or did he mean something else? Hart’s comments are open for interpretation. However, here is what you need to know about the rift between Dwayne and Paul.
Dwayne Johnson and Logan Paul collaborated multiple times and shared a strong bond
Logan Paul launched his YouTube channel in 2016 after earning his fame on Vine. In that year itself, Paul collaborated with Dwayne on a video. In December 2016, Paul posted a vlog on his channel and said, “big collab with someone who I admire and have the utmost respect for.” He later revealed that he was making two videos with Dwayne. One each for both of their channels.
At the end of the video in which they collaborated, Dwayne tells Paul, “you’re the best.” Paul then calls Dwayne a “genuine guy,” adding, “Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, you are the man.”
Since then, Paul and Dwayne came together to create multiple videos. They used to refer to each other as “brother” and “bro.”
In November 2017, on a Dubai-based podcast The Kris Fade Show, Paul praised Dwayne highly and called him his idol. He said, “I don’t get starstruck. I do not. And when I was standing next to ‘The Rock’ for the first time, I was shaking like a little girl. He’s my idol. He’s the one guy who I actually resonate with in Hollywood.”
However, things took a sharp turn in their friendship. It all came crashing down very soon.
