A SHOCK new photo has revealed why Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid were so furious over Kevin De Bruyne’s equaliser at the Bernabeu.

The Brazilian produced an incredible strike from outside of the area in the 36th minute to send Rio Ferdinand wild in the BT Studio.
Tensions then threatened to boil over as Dani Carvajal was labelled an “absolute disgrace” for his play acting after he shoved Jack Grealish into the pitchside hoardings.
But a stunning effort from De Bruyne earned City a 1-1 draw to take back to the Etihad next week for the second-leg.
However, that goal was hotly-disputed by Real Madrid’s players and their bench for a reason unknown to most English viewers.
Their usually-cool boss Ancelotti was so angered that he even received a yellow card from the referee for his protests.
And now it has emerged why he was so enraged by the goal as the ball appeared to have crossed the line for a throw-in just seconds before the equaliser.
In the lead-up to the goal, the ball looked to have gone out of play right in front of the Madrid dug-out.
But neither the assistant referee nor the man in the middle spotted the incident and allowed Bernardo Silva to play on.
However, a VAR check was not even able to be used as moments later Eduardo Camavinga lost the ball.
And it was only then that the attacking phase for City that led to the equaliser was deemed to have begun, meaning that the potential throw-in decision was not able to be reviewed.
Italian Ancelotti was still seething over the decision afterwards as he took aim at the officials.
He said: “The ball was off the pitch.
“That’s it. Technology said it. I don’t understand why VAR didn’t check it.
“The referee didn’t pay attention to many things tonight.”
