Inside Steven Gerrard’s 18 millions Beverly Hills super-house – complete with six bedrooms, a pool and its own cinema

It’s A far cry from the Liverpool terrace of his childhood.

With its sprawling six bedrooms, pool, cinema and own waterfall, all nestled in an exclusive part of Beverly Hills, Steven Gerrard’s new mansion shows just how far the star has come.

Newly signed to LA Galaxy, for whom former England team-mate David Beckham also played, the father-of-three, 35, recently moved to the Los Angeles home with wife Alex, 32, and daughters Lilly-Ella, 11, Lexie, nine, and Lourdes, three.

Worth £18million, the 12,000sq ft mansion is a world away from the Bluebell Estate home where Gerrard grew up, now worth £77,000.

The £35,000 monthly rent is still easily within the star’s means, despite him taking a pay cut to join LA Galaxy.

The contract reportedly earns him £76,000 a week, compared with £140,000 from Liverpool.

His new neighbourhood, yards from where Elvis Presley lived, was also once called home by Frank Sinatra, and neighbours include Jane Fonda, 77.

Searching for a home in the area earlier this year, Mrs Gerrard said: ‘House hunting has been really hard. The houses are so beautiful. I wish I could find one I didn’t like. You walk in them and you’re like ‘wow, this is amazing.’

Gerrard brought his Liverpool career to an end after more than 500 games for the team over 17 years and signed for Galaxy in January.

Speaking about his enduring love for his boyhood club, he recently said: ‘I have a wonderful relationship with them all and I’ll stay in touch, I’ll see them all in the winter and support the team – I’ll be looking in from afar and be watching every Liverpool game that’s shown live out here.’
