In a bizarre incident, Cristiano Ronaldo and Braley Coper’s ex Irina Shayk was seen wearing the exact ‘lion head dress’ as Kylie Jenner. The incident took place earlier this year at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2023 show. It has not been explained if this was planned or not, howeve, Kylie’s face spoke volumes. She was absolutely unimpressed and fans took notice.
An account on Reddit uploaded the video of Irina walking the ramp with Kylie’s reaction to seeing her dress. Kylie was wearing the same dress as Irina. The caption of the post was, “Kylie Jenner doesn’t look too happy after finding out Irina Shayk wore the same lion head dress as her at the Paris Fashion Week.”
Some fans, however, were unimpressed by both models. They were not happy to see them sporting lion heads. One fan commented, “Legitimately never seen anything more unattractive.”
Another fan commented, “UGLIEST DRESS OF THE YEAR! I DON’T CARE WHO’S WEARING IT, IT BELONGS IN THE JUNGLE WHERE NO ONE CAN SEE IT.”
One fan did not hold back and commented what he thought. They wrote, “And they both still look like idiots.”
One fan, on the other hand, failed to believe this was fashion. They wrote, “How is that fashion???”
Many fans, however, believed that was a real lion’s head. That would mean that these fashion icons were involved in animal cruelty. But that was not the case.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s ex Irina Shayk defends fashion designers for the ‘lion head dress’
It was believed that the lion’s head was real. Many people even tagged PETA and asked them to take action. To clarify, Irina put up an Instagram post with the pictures and captioned it, “I support these incredible artists who worked tirelessly, with their hands, using wool, silk, and foam, to sculpt this embroidered Lion, and image of Pride, An image that @schiaparelli invokes while exploring themes of strength.”
The designer also made their clarification. On their Instagram page, it was written that the animal head was created from “hand sculpted foam, wool and silk faux fur, and hand-painted to look as life-like as possible, celebrating the glory of the natural world.”
Fashion has reached innovative heights. Different materials and hand-work are being used to create dresses that cannot be easily matched.
