Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age of Extinction, which was the fourth movie in the franchise, was a blockbuster hit. It was made with a total budget of $210 million, however, the movie made a whopping $1.104 billion at the box office, breaking several records. Age of Extinction also became the only film in 2014 to gross over $1 billion.
On the other hand, Dwayne Johnson’s Hercules directed by Brett Ratner was made with a budget of $100 million and it also turned out to be a hit. The movie based on Steve Moore’s comic made $244.8 million at the box office worldwide in addition to mixed reviews from the audience.
