After giving birth to three children in the span of a year—and they are not Tʀɪᴘʟᴇᴛꜱ—Stephanie Hansen is making headlines. After a tumultuous start to parenting that she never anticipated, Hansen is somehow ᴍᴀɴaging three young tᴏᴅᴅlers on her own.
Daphne, Stephanie Hansen’s first child, was born on January 28, 2020 in Washington state. Hansen had recently started a new relationship at the time. She began using birth control, but she didn’t anticipate being able to conceive again so soon. But less than three months later, the new mom was sʜᴏᴄᴋed to find she was expecting ᴛᴡɪɴꜱ with her new boyfriend. On December 8, 2020, she gave birth to her children Rubie and Penelope.
In her discussion of raising her three young daughters, Hansen said that when she first found out she was Pʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ so soon after giving birth to Daphne, she immediately felt “guilty.” I felt ᴛᴇʀʀɪʙʟᴇ that she wouldn’t spend any more time with me alone, she added. Undoubtedly, there was some initial sadness. But as soon as her younger children arrived, all of her worries vanished, according to the mother, who added that the three siblings are now an unbreakable unit.
The Three Musketeers are they. They share a similar routine. Together, they take a bath, eat, and play. Their bedroom is shared. The ᴛᴡɪɴꜱ’ father is no longer living with the single mother, who acknowledges that her single status might make her home a “chaotic” place. Hansen clarified that her ex is constantly available to assist with the girls, though. Hansen continues to be friends with and co-parent with Penelope and Rubie’s father even if they are no longer rOᴍᴀɴtically linked. “I was crushed when we split up,” she claimed. But I told myself, “I can handle this,” We won’t stay home sobbing while wearing pajamas. Either we sink or we swim. It isn’t always simple.
Hansen regularly uploads TikTok videos on raising her daughters, who are now 2 and 15 months old, and has developed a fan base. The mother has learned that wonderful things really do come in threes even if she wasn’t expecting her ᴛᴡɪɴꜱ. I am the happiest I’ve ever been in my entire life, she exclaimed. The finest thing that has ever occurred to me is these kids.
