JENNIFER Lawrence is being blamed by fans after Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced they were separating.
The couple, who were married for eight years, announced the news this morning.
Jennifer, who starred with Chris on the 2016 hit film Passengers, is now being hounded online by trolls who claim she’s responsible for their split.
Late last year it was claimed Jennifer and Chris had hooked up while shooting the sci-fi film – something which was vehemently denied.
Anna later called the rumours “devastating” and said: “For us it was like, ‘What the heck.’
“This has been blindsiding to us. We have an incredible relationship. [But] it has been weirdly stinging.”
The 40-year-old also told Fox News she had always believed gossip about celebrities and affairs and explained: “I have always kind of believed that part of the rumours of celebrity couples were sort of true because they had never been a part of my life.
“I thought ‘Maybe there is a kernel of truth to that.’”
Despite there being no evidence to suggest Jennifer was involved in the breakdown of Chris and Anna’s relationship, fans have slated the 26-year-old online.
One tweeted: Anyone who is surprised that Chris and Anna are splitting didn’t see how Chris was with Jennifer Lawrence. That slut is a homewrecker.
Another wrote: “I can’t believe Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are splitting up this is all Jennifer Lawrence’s fault.”
Pictures of Jennifer, Chris and Anna at the premiere of Passengers in December appeared awkward.
Jennifer and Anna’s hug was mocked by fans online, while people joked about Chris not looking at Anna when he kissed her.
One fan commented at the time: “What is that hideous hug J-Law is giving her? You’d think Faris has the plague.”
Another said of the kiss: “He’s not looking at her at all…”

Jennifer later said of Chris and Anna’s marriage: “And they’re like in love, they look like a Nicholas Sparks novel.
“You know when you see people who are so happy, it just makes you miserable…”
Despite this, Anna made it clear just the thought of the rumours still upset her.
Speaking to Isla Fisher on her podcast, Anna said: “I think it was a combination of things.
“I take pride in how great my relationship is with Chris, but having said that, of course, in this crazy world where he’s off doing movies and I’m in L.A. raising our child, of course I’m going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would.
“It made me feel incredibly insecure.”
Chris announced the news of his separation from Anna in a statement this morning.
The news of their separation shocked Chris fans, as just months ago Chris spoke fondly of his other half, who is mother to his four-year-old son Jack.
They are the latest in a series of high-profile couples to split in recent years.
