Chelsea are being rinsed out there right now by the media, rival fans, pundits, and by former players.
Things are going from very bad to very worse for the Chelsea owners after hiring their third manager in one season last week.
Frank Lampard has come in and lost two games on the bounce and not scored a single goal, and many are not only questioning this decision, but questioning many decisions that the new club owners have made since coming in – especially all the money they have spent.
The latest former player turned pundit who is criticising is Wesley Sneijder, who used to play for real Madrid and Netherlands.
He was watching Chelsea’s defeat vs Madrid last night and singled out Wesley Fofana as being a waste of money.
As cited by Sport Witness, Sneijder said: “That Wesley Fofana too, recruited for €80m, that really is a waste of money. Maybe the pressure is too high at such a big club.”
Personally I disagree. Fofana has been superb for Chelsea since returning from injury, and one bad game does not make him a waste of money.
