Manchester United are reportedly preparing to make their move for Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane.
Kane has been linked with a move away from north London this summer amid the disarray surrounding Spurs, following Antonio Conte’s dramatic sacking this week.
The England captain’s future lies in the balance and it’s unlikely he’ll want to commit another season at Spurs, which has piqued the interest of a number of clubs.
One of those teams includes Erik ten Hag’s Man United, who have long been admirers of the Three Lions’ all-time record goalscorer.
The 29-year-old has been on United’s shortlist since bursting onto the scene and it seems the club’s chiefs are finally preparing to make a bid for the Tottenham star.

It’s understood that Kane is leaning towards an exit from Spurs this summer, as he looks to win a trophy for the first time in his professional career.
United look like one the most viable options for the England captain and could be of interest for Kane given their recent success in the Carabao Cup.
The 29-year-old made history earlier this week after becoming England’s all-time top goalscorer, overtaking United legend Wayne Rooney.
Kane netted against Italy in the 44th minute on Thursday in Naples to overtake Rooney with 54 goals.
