Mohamed Salah returned home after some busy months in the English Premier League to spend time with his parents.

The Liverpool star joined his national team teammates ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Malawi in Cairo on Friday.

Before joining camp, he visited home to share the moment with his lovely parents.

He posted a photo of his father and mother with the love emoji.

The seven-time African champions currently sit bottom of Group D after two matches in the Nations Cup qualifiers.

The Pharaohs need victories over Malawi to revive their chances of qualifying for the tournament in Ivory Coast next year.

Salah and Liverpool are having a tough campaign and risk missing out on qualification to next year’s UEFA champions League.

The former Chelsea winger became Liverpool’s all-time leading scorer after netting twice in the 7-0 thrashing of Manchester United.

Liverpool are also out of the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League.
