Now, the 31-year-old has admitted that when he played for the Blues he didn’t always get on particularly well with his new teammate Xhaka. Speaking to beIN Sports, the talented midfielder said: “Yes, I’m happy.
“We had a few fights on the pitch before but outside of the pitch, he’s a really nice guy and we have good laughs now.” Jorginho has opened up about Xhaka’s behaviour off the pitch, revealing that the Swiss captain bought him dinner recently.
He added: “Yes, outside of the pitch [Xhaka is different]. I asked him the other day where I could go for dinner around here and he booked me and didn’t let me pay as well.
