Southampton defeated Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon, and Chelsea fans know who they want to succeed Graham Potter.

Chelsea fans already have one name in mind if Graham Potter is relieved of his duties at Stamford Bridge.

Potter – who only took the reigns in September – has struggled to get the Blues rocking again, and another defeat on Saturday could prove the final straw. James Ward-Prowse’s free-kick was enough to separate the two sides, leaving Chelsea 10th in the table.

However, Blues fans have already got their eye on who they want as their next boss – Luis Enrique. The Spaniard has been out of work since he walked away from the Spanish national team following their 2022 World Cup exit.

One fan tweeted: “Sack Graham Potter. Luis Enrique in @todd_boehly do this before we are relegated, please!”

“Do you see that this garbage Potter is destroying us? Do you have f***ing eyes Todd…Luis Enrique ASAP,” a second fumed. While a third added: “The smartest move the Chelsea board will make right now is to sack Potter and hand over the coaching job to Luis Enrique!”

And a fourth tweeted: “If Chelsea aren’t on the phone to Luis Enrique, they’re nuts…”

It’s been over a month since Chelsea last registered a win in all competitions, a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

That success is their only one in 2023, with the Blues drawing four and losing five this calendar year. Things don’t get any easier for Potter next week with a trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to face London rivals next up for the Blues.
