Lionel Messi is back in Paris after winning the 2022 World Cup. The player has achieved the great feat with the Argentine team and now he is back under the orders of Christophe Galtier in the PSG team. However, the player now receives a piece of news prior to his return that will not please Kylian Mbappe.
Messi and Mbappe faced each other in the final of the World Cup. The French player decided to return a few days after the great competition, while Messi took the cup to his native country. However, Galtier decided to use Kylian immediately after the World Cup, but now things are different with Messi.
In a press conference prior to PSG’s next match, Galtier stated that Lionel Messi has just returned and will not play the next match with the French team. All because he had not had enough shooting and he wants him to be rested for the club’s next match.
Mbappe will not play either?
Like Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe has been given a rest by the coach as part of a physical recovery program after the World Cup. However, unlike Messi, Galtier did decide to use him once the World Cup was over and Mbappe reported for training.
