As the march toward all-electric cars continues, Lincoln turned to students from the ArtCenter College of Design in Southern California to present their vision for what the future would look like — with no strings attached. Using Lincoln’s Quiet Flight moniker, the students came up with concepts that borrowed heavily from the past, with designs recalling the Zephyr of the 1930s and the Continental of the ’60s. The four studies range from conventional-sized sedans to a massive land yacht, with each taking full advantage of the packaging electric technology offers.
