Ebanie Bridges, the Australian boxing world champion, has spoken out about feeling uncomfortable during a photo opportunity with Conor McGregor at a recent boxing match, stating that she felt as though she was ‘manhandled’ by the UFC superstar.
The pair bumped into each other when they attended Katie Taylor‘s homecoming fight against Chantelle Cameron in Dublin on Saturday night.
Bridges and McGregor posed for several photos that quickly went viral, with the UFC icon happily wrapping his arm around the Aussie IBF bantamweight queen.
On Wednesday, Bridges – who has a huge following online – shared another photo of the pair together alongside the caption, ‘Cute pic’.
A fan responded, writing: ‘He looks like he’s manhandling you in every picture.’

The Blonde Bomber replied, writing: ‘I felt like he was ngl. Lol’.
However, Bridges clearly doesn’t have an issue with the Irishman, having posted several shots of them posing together to her various social media.
Fight fans were quick to point out that McGregor’s fiancee Dee Devlin would be less than impressed by his moment with Bridges.
‘There is no reality in which Dee Devlin is happy with this interaction,’ one Twitter user commented.
‘I can imagine the conversation with Dee when he gets home already,’ said another.
‘I think there’s a reason why he ain’t married,’ said a third.
Last month Bridges revealed that she gets marriage proposals every day of the week – but unfortunately, the former Sydney maths teacher is taken.
She hosted a Q&A session on her Instagram, when somebody asked: ‘Will you please marry me?’

Bridges replied: ‘For the ten people that ask me this nearly every day, and for the hundreds of people that are probably going to ask me in reply to my question and answer today, it’s a no, sorry, I’m taken.’
The champ has previously revealed she had a boyfriend in Australia, though it is not known if that is the relationship she is referring to.
The former Sydney maths teacher emerged as a genuine star in 2022 with a emphatic win over Maria Cecilia Roman to capture the IBF bantamweight title.
Bridges then capped off the year by ending her war of words with compatriot Shannon O’Connell and retaining the title with a brutal eighth-round stoppage win in Leeds, England.
The Blonde Bomber’s unapologetic mindset, disarming sense of humour and controversial weigh-in appearances wearing lingerie have won her legions of fans and followers on social media.
