This Is Supercar Blondie’s First Look At The Most Powerful Lamborghini Ever

At Sant’Agata Lamborghini roll out their newest, most powerful, and advanced supercar, the Revuelto – and Alex Hirschi shows off its best features.

What is the fastest Lamborghini? It’s a difficult question to answer, as some models do not have official top speeds, and an array of modern Lamborghini supercars all share the same 217 mph or 221 mph top speed.

Cars like the Lamborghini Sian are sometimes quoted as being capable of the former or sometimes the latter, by the Italian brand. The magical number often quoted is 350 km/h – 217 mph.

The Lamborghini Revuelto isn’t the first hybrid Lambo (it is the first plug-in), but the replacement for the Aventador is the most powerful Lamborghini ever.

YouTube channel Supercar Blondie has Alex Hirschi on the ground at Lamborghini headquarters in Sant ’Agata to get a feel for the Revuelto and check out its awesome design.

How Much Does The Lamborghini Revuelto Cost?

The Lamborghini Revuelto will cost upwards of $600,000, but you get a lot for the money. A 1001-hp powertrain consists of a 6.5-liter V12 with 3 electric motors and power goes to all wheels, with two of the motors sitting up front and one at the back.

A top speed of more than 217 mph is familiar, as well as a sub-3-second 0-60 mph time, but both the peak horsepower figure and the hybrid details are what most will arguably focus on. Supercar Blondie Alex tells us that you can travel at up to 86 mph on electric power alone, but you will only be able to go 6 miles until the battery is empty. Luckily, the V12 can recharge the battery in 6 minutes. A mile a minute.

The Revuelto looks imposing in the flesh (and through the lens of YouTube) but Alex seems to be visibly blown away by the design – which borrows cues from the Sian like the Y-shaped lights up front – and by the sound which is very aggressive. It starts up in silent ‘EV’ mode though, so you don’t wake your neighbors having a siesta at midday when you decide to head out for a drive.

What Is So Good About The Lamborghini Revuelto?

What’s good about the Revuelto depends on what you value, but as a supercar in 2023, even though it’s a hybrid, it has a naturally aspirated V12 which is a big deal; to all intents and purposes, it is a real Lambo. Supercar Blondie points out the doors which have a cool touch-open feature, there’s a smaller side sill which allows easier ingress, and the interior has some features that continue to blow away Alex.

She loves the design but by far, she loves the infotainment system which accompanies a digital gauge cluster and a passenger screen. You can move widgets and features between all 3 screens, customizing the experience to your liking and that of the passengers. You can even save pre-set climate control settings for one-button access.

A lack of wireless phone charging is an oversight in a car on the wrong side of $500,000, but in general the Revuelto – or ‘scrambled’ in Spanish – mixes up the supercar recipe a little for 2023 while staying true to all the things that made them a poster brand in the first place.
