Scott Foster is arguably the most well-known official in the NBA today, although it is for all the wrong reasons, as he ends up becoming one of the talking points after games.
That was the case here as well, although he wasn’t to blame this time around, as LeBron James ran into him and left him with a bloodied mouth in the second quarter of Game 3. James apologized later on and Foster had a hilarious response to it.
“You’ve been wanting to do that for 25 years,” Foster said.

Chris Paul might have wanted to do that over the last decade considering their history. Austin Reaves also had some fun there by hilariously suggesting that LeBron should have got a technical foul. It wasn’t intentional by any means but a man of James’ size could have caused some serious harm to the 56-year-old official by running at him. Fortunately, there wasn’t much damage caused, and Foster was able to carry on and officiate the rest of the game.

When it was announced that Foster would be the crew chief for Game 3, fans went crazy as they felt the Los Angeles Lakers would win but it was the Denver Nuggets who came out on top 119-108. They are now in complete control of this series and have one foot in the NBA Finals at this point.
Do The Lakers Have Any Shot At Turning The Series Around?
Following their narrow loss in Game 1, there was a lot of optimism that the Lakers would win this series, with the narrative being they had figured out the Nuggets’ offense. With Denver shooting 50.0% from the field in Game 3, it is safe to say they haven’t quite managed to do that.
They are now looking to become the first team in NBA history to overturn a 0-3 deficit and while LeBron would be the one to do something as special as that, it seems impossible even for him. The Nuggets have shown just why they had the best record in the West this season and deserved a lot more respect than what they had been getting.
