Tragedy struck one fateful day when Wagner had a terrible motorcycle accident. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries the following day, leaving Sereno behind. The horse seemed bewildered and disoriented in the days that followed.

During Wagner’s funeral, Sereno was included in the proceedings. As the coffin was being placed in a vehicle, something remarkable happened. Sereno approached the coffin and emitted mournful sounds. He could sense the presence of his beloved friend inside, now departed from this world. It was his way of expressing deep sadness and bidding a final farewell.

Witnessing this poignant display, the attendees at the service couldn’t help but be moved to tears. As the pallbearers carried the coffin towards the cemetery, Sereno continued to whimper and stomp his hooves on the ground, expressing his grief. In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, Wagner’s brother, Wando, decided to adopt Sereno. He embraced the horse with the same love and devotion that his brother had shown.
