Granit Xhaka might have attracted a bit of criticism on the pitch at the Emirates this season, but there’s plenty of fashionistas that are singing his praises.
The Arsenal midfielder has been spotted out and about sporting the latest trends plenty since he moved to London on a £90,000-a-week deal.
Granit Xhaka takes a tour around the Emirates stadium after signing a five year contract with Arsenal
While his performances have been a mixed bag since he joined the Premier League, Xhaka’s fashion game off the pitch is usually on point.
He regularly posts snaps on his Instagram account featuring designer brands such as Christian Louboutin, Dsquared2, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Diesel.
Luckily the Switzerland star, who’s in his second season with the Gunners, can afford some expensive threads after he signed a mammoth five-year contract when he signed for Arsene Wenger’s side back in 2016.
And with the Arsenal futures of fellow midfielders Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey uncertain going into the summer – Xhaka looks set to stick around in North London for some time to come.

Thankfully, you don’t have to be a top flight footballer to match Xhaka’s style.
We’ve looked through his wardrobe and found some high street alternatives you can buy for much less.
And some of his entire outfits are available for under £50.
Disclaimer: Dressing like Granit Xhaka probably won’t help you hit one top bins from 30 yards.
Country boy
Granit Xhaka’s exact Versace Jeans bomber jacket is currently on sale at House of Fraser for £200
Just two weeks ago Xhaka posted this image of himself on Instagram, outside of what appears to be a quaint country house.
He’s also posing beside a LandRover Defender which gave another hint that he was not in London.
Still, his outfit was as urban as ever – a Versace Jeans camo-print bomber jacket, cargo pants and a cap.
Let’s hope he didn’t go for any muddy walks in those trainers though – the box-fresh babies are Gucci and cost a whopping £410.
- Webbed trainers, £20, ASOS
- Camo bomber, £16.50, Brave Soul at ASOS
You can buy Xhaka’s exact Versace Jeans bomber for £200 on sale at House of Fraser but we’ve also found some pretty similar outfits on ASOS for a fraction of the cost.
These trainers have striped webbing down each side but cost only £20 – that’s £390 less than Gucci’s popular Ace pair.
- Longline T-shirt, £4.80, Boohoo
- Cargo trousers, £24.99, H&M
Fans may have mocked Xhaka’s trousers on Instagram but to get the Switzerland player’s look, you’ll need to invest in some – because we’ve spotted him in them more than once.
H&M have an almost identical pair made from jersey in the same skinny cut for only £24.99.
Bombers and bling
Granit Xhaka posted a photo of himself wearing this £290 Diesel bomber on Instagram
The midfielder posted another candid shot of himself on his Instagram last month.
Something tells us this post wasn’t so casual though – plenty of Xhaka’s purchases were on show including a blingy gold watch and ring.
But it was his Diesel jacket we noticed. This satin bomber nodded to traditional trophy styles with its striped ribbing and military-inspired patches.
That cool, customised look will cost you though – £290.
- Gold-tone watch, £25, ASOS
- Bomber jacket, £79.99, Superdry
- Embroidered cap, £22, Levi at ASOS
We’ve shopped around and found Superdry’s version – it’s a real winner with its khaki colour and army patches.
Top your look off with a black cap and a gold watch.

Brother to brother
Granit Xhaka and his brother posing for a picture on Regent’s Street in London on Kosovan Independence Day
On February 17th last year, Xhaka went for a stroll with his brother in London.
The pair posed for a picture on Regent Street and the footballer posted it on Instagram with the caption: “A walk in London with my brother, exactly on this day marked for all Albanians.”
Writing in his native Albanian, he referred to the anniversary of his country Kosovo’s independence day.
The siblings looked pretty dapper but it was Xhaka’s outfit that caught our eye – he was wearing a £575 Mocler gilet and the white version of his favourite £625 Christian Louboutin trainers.
- Studded trainers, £57.18, Milanoo
- Padded gilet, £12, Boohoo
We’ve found a smiliar studded pair on Milanoo, they have a higher cut but the same spike-embellished toe.
And Boohoo’s glossy puffer gilet is the same shade of midnight blue as Xhaka’s but costs £563 less.
Number one
Granit Xhava and his wife Leonita Lekaj in London with their designer accessories from Gucci and Christian Louboutin
It’s no secret that Granit Xhaka is madly into his wife Leonita Lekaj – he’s constantly posting pictures of her on his social media and the pair caused quite a stir when they were capture smooching on the side of the pitch after a Euro 2016 game.
We can’t help but wonder whether he’s spending that Arsenal pay packet on some serious designer gear for her – like this £1490 Gucci bag.
It seems that they both like designer accessories – the midfielder’s high top sneakers are from Christian Louboutin and cost a whopping £1200.
His Dsquared2 top was a little less at £155, but still pretty pricey for a simple T-shirt.
- Colour-block high-tops, £46.74, Vans at Zalando
- American flag T-shirt, £25.99, Red Bubble
Still, savvy shoppers can find something similiar on the high street for so much less.
Together, Red Bubble’s American flag T-shirt and Vans’ high tops cost £72.73 – that’s over a grand less than Xhaka’s outfit.

- Paint-splat jeans, £16, Forever 21
- Bomber jacket, £10.80, Boohoo
The footballer complemented these pieces with a classic menswear hero – the bomber jacket.
Boohoo’s sleek black version will work with so many different outfits and currently costs only £10.80 (it’s on a 30 per cent discount for a limited time only).
Simply money
Granit Xhava poses for a picture in Dsquared2 jeans and £625 Christian Louboutin trainers
Xhaka pulled the paint splatter jeans out once again in this picture he posted on Instagram.
This outfit may have looked simple, but it cost over a grand.
His Dsquared2 jeans, washed in a light grey and printed all-over, set him back £420.
Meanwhile his trainers, made from black suede and featuring a spike-embellished toe, set him back £625 – and he has two pairs!
- Slim-fit T-shirt, £5, Boohoo
- Paint splat jeans, £20, Topman
- Black spike trainers, £58.74, Milanoo
We’ve found an identical pair on Milanoo for only £58.74.
With their suede upper, spiked toe and low-top cut, they really are the spitting image of Xhaka’s Louboutins – winning.
