Recently Tom Cruise met Vin Diesel and Ludacris
Recently, in an interview with Access Hollywood, Charlize Theron spoke about if she would be interested in watching Tom Cruise entering the franchise. The discussion was raised when the interviewer asked the actress about her views on the audience’s reaction after Vin Diesel recently met the Valkyrie star at the inaugural F1 Miami Grand Prix. To this, Theron replied:
“It should happen. I mean, why not? I mean, was there an invite sent? Like, I mean, send him an invite.”
Further, the Atomic Blonde actress added that if the fans are sending invites then he can’t definitely say no to them- “Then it’s done.” You can watch the full interview here:
The photo posted by Vin Diesel featuring him and his Fast X co-star Ludacris with Tom Cruise had the fans go wild. But that was not the only thing that sent the internet into a frenzy. The fans of the Fast Saga couldn’t hold their excitement for the next movie after the Rome premiere of the movie revealed the return of a major character from the franchise.

Dwayne Johnson to return in Fast X
Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel in Fast 5
Although it can’t be said if Tom Cruise will join the franchise or not, the fans can’t control their excitement after recent reports claimed a major comeback in the movie. Soon after the Rome premiere took place, it was reported by The Wrap that one of the most unprecedented returns is going to occur in the next movie in the form of Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who repeatedly claimed to have no interest in re-joining the franchise after his long-time public feud with Vin Diesel, seemed to have worked out something between them to give the fans a glimpse of every character they have seen in the franchise to date. Recently, Diesel also revealed that Universal requested them to expand the main series to 12 films, thereby making the finale in three parts.
Luke Hobbs reportedly makes his appearance in the post-credit scene of Fast X and according to many, it can also open the doors for a sequel to the spin-off Hobbs & Shaw series. The return of DSS Luke Hobbs makes sense as his character debuted in Fast Five and was an integral part of the story. Fast X also shares a direct connection with the fifth movie as Jason Momoa, who plays Dante Reyes, is the son of Hernan Reyes, the main antagonist of the fifth movie.
Fast X will hit theaters on May 19, 2023.
