Look at her now.
Selena Gomez was spotted dressed down and makeup-free in sweatpants and slippers as she went for a grocery run in Malibu, Calif., on Sunday.
The “Same Old Love” artist, 29, looked cozy in a long cream cardigan, a casual black T-shirt, and white baggy sweatpants as she was joined by her friends while running errands ahead of Memorial Day.
Gomez accessorized with black fuzzy open-toe slippers and a beaded phone chain as she made her way through the parking lot.
The singer’s complexion looked flawless as she rocked a makeup-free look and long curly tresses.
Gomez’s low-key outing comes after she spoke about her mental health struggles during a speech she gave at The White House.
The “Only Murders In The Building” star, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2020, opened up about destigmatizing mental health illnesses during an appearance at the Mental Health Youth Action Forum hosted by MTV Entertainment last week.
“Mental health is very personal for me, and I hope that by using my platform to share my own story and working with incredible people like all of you,” she had said at the event, “I can help others feel less alone and find the help they need, which is honestly all I want.”
She was also diagnosed with lupus in 2014 and subsequently underwent a kidney transplant and chemotherapy, saying of her challenges at the forum, “You’re going to help people.’ [That is] really what kept me going.”
The Rare Beauty founder, who boasts 223 million followers on Instagram, also shared that staying off of social media has helped alleviate her anxiety.
