Sullivan was then arrested and his case was brought to the attention of Rya Goodwin, played by Seyfried, who told the alleged criminal that he did not ‘seem like a dangerous person.’
The character was then seen while being beat up by a group of bullies before he was suddenly saved by Yitzhak, portrayed by Lior Raz, who chased them off and invited him to his house to get himself back in order.
As he shares coffee with Yitzhak and Ariana, played by Lane, Goodwin asked Sullivan if ‘it never struck you as strange that this man just showed up to save you,’ to which he responded by saying he ‘figured I was lucky.’
When the interrogator followed up by asking if he had ever been lucky in the past, he simply told her ‘no.’
Goodwin then visited the scene of the crime and was told by Matty Dunn, played by Thomas Sadoski, that Sullivan may have murdered one of his female friends before Yitzhak held the youth up to a wall and angrily inquired: ‘What did you do?!’
After the interrogator was told that Sullivan was ‘hiding something,’ she asked him about what happed in his house and where his friends were, to which he ominously replied: ‘I have these blank spots.’
During a flashback where a younger version of Sullivan went for a ride with his mother Candy, played by Rossum, Goodwin inquired: ‘They’re not the only people close to you to disappear, are they?’
When Dunn described the alleged criminal’s pastel drawings as potential ‘victims,’ The alleged criminal asked the interrogator if she thought he was ‘the one pulling the strings.’

The Crowded Room, which was created by Akiva Goldsman, was announced to have been in development in 2021.
The program took inspiration from Daniel Keyes’ 1981 non-fiction book The Minds of Billy Milligan, which was centered on the individual of the same name.
Milligan, who was arrested for committing various felonies, was eventually acquitted of his crimes after he pled insanity following a diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder.
During the court case, he claimed that several of his alternate personalities had committed the crimes and that he had not been aware of his criminal actions.
Holland signed on as the project’s lead in April of 2021, and its other cast members were added over the course of the following year.

The actor previously spoke to Entertainment Weekly and expressed that his involvement with the project caused him to reevaluate his own mental health.
‘Learning about mental health and the power of it, and speaking to psychiatrists about Danny and Billy’s struggles, has been something that has been so informative to my own life,’ he said.
Holland added: ‘I hope that people will feel educated about the powers of mental health, the struggles, [and] our incredible abilities to survive.’
The Crowded Room is currently scheduled to premiere on the AppleTV+ streaming service on June 9.
