After being rescued, a newborn orphaned gorilla cuddles up to his caretaker in this sweet moment.
The Limbe Wildlife Centre’s nursery team is caring for Bobga, a baby gorilla from Cameroon. Bobga may be seen cuddling with his carer, Alvin Muma, illustrating how attached he is with his caregivers.
Bobga has a large and safe cage where he may relax when he isn’t playing in the nursery with Alvin and others. The center’s Fundraising and Communications Co-ordinator, Laura Craddock, says:
“It’s vital for an orphan gorilla like Bobga to feel safe and secure with his caregiver, and these photos show exquisite moments of relaxation between Bobga and Alvin, one of his dedicated caretakers.” “Foraging, playing, acquiring social skills, boosting curiosity, climbing, and grooming are all important components of his rehabilitation.”
“We provide victims of illegal wildlife trafficking a second chance, teach the local populace about environmental protection, and give ex-hunting groups other professions.”
