Josie Gibson and Chris Pratt were lost in translation on Thursday’s episode of This Morning as the actor was left confused by her Bristolian accent.
The TV presenter, 38, took part in a press junket for Chris’ new film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 alongside his co-star Zoe Saldana.
Josie flew to Disneyland Paris where the film had its premiere to interview the stars of the franchise.
The Big Brother winner kicked off the interview by putting on a pretend French accent before asking the pair: ‘Have you been in the park yet?’
‘You’ve got it, yeah,’ Chris replied.
Josie repeated: ‘You’ve been in the park?’ to which Chris said: ‘Oh I thought you said have I gotten the part yet?’
Josie then said: ‘I’m going to warn you now, I’ve got a funny accent. I’m Bristolian and I will try and talk a bit slower because it is like a pirate.’
The Marvel movie series has reached its end, with the upcoming film officially concluding the beloved franchise.
Zoe recalled the heartfelt speech she had given to the cast and crew on the last day on set.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, she said: ‘I thanked [director James Gunn] for just his time and his patience and his guidance and his friendship.’
The first Guardians Of The Galaxy movie, which had been projected to be a flop, was released in 2014, and received critical acclaim. The film raked in a whopping $773.3 million in the global box office, and also received two Oscar nominations.
The sequel, simply titled Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, was released three years later in 2017, and garnered even higher box office numbers with $863.8 million in global sales.
After the major success of the first installment, Gunn recalled being in London with actors Chris and Dave Bautista, and expressed that they had promised, ‘to each other that we won’t let our egos get the best of us, that we’ll continue being kind to each other, continue being down-to-earth.’
Other stars that will appear on the big screen once again for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 also include Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Vin Diesel and Sylvester Stallone.
Late last year in October, Zoe further reflected on her nearly 10-year journey playing Gamora and the final days on set when talking to Entertainment Weekly.
‘Filming started bitter in the beginning ’cause obviously you’re anticipating the end,’ she stated. ‘I had an evolution that I witnessed of myself, but also my director and my cast.’
‘I just felt very blessed and grateful. It was a very sweet departure, I have to say,’ the actress further gushed. Aside from the Guardians universe, she also portrayed her character in the Avengers franchise as well.
