Kylie Jenner and her older sister Kendall are going viral for not knowing the meaning of the word frugal during an interview with Access Hollywood.
While promoting their upcoming reality show on Hulu with their three half-siblings Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner, the duo became confused when they were asked to identify who in the group is ‘the most frugal of the bunch.’
While the Kardashian sisters quickly revealed they believed Kendall, 26, to be the most thrifty, the supermodel did not know how to answer the question.
After scrambling to come up with a response, Kendall turned to Kourtney, 41, and confessed: ‘I don’t know what that means.’
‘You care about the cost, like money,’ the mother-of-three explained, to which the 818 Tequila founder nodded and replied, ‘Oh yeah, I’m cheap!’
Kylie never admitted to not knowing the word’s meaning, but could be seen observing her sisters before quietly pulling out the same card as them.
While Kendall earned the title as the most frugal, Kylie is known to live like a billionaire.
The star, who has a personal fortune at just under $900 million, reportedly spent over $130 million in 2021 on multiple real estate deals and a top of the range private jet.
Before the pandemic, Page Six reports Kylie plunked down between $50 and $70 million on a Global Express Jet – a plane which is larger than a Learjet and can carry more fuel and fly longer distances.
Meanwhile, Kendall, who has a net worth of roughly $45 million, regularly tops Forbes’ list of the world’s highest paid model and launched her own tequila company last year.
The beauty has walked some of the world’s top shows including Burberry, Versace and Fendi and struck hefty contracts with a slew of top brands.
The elder Jenner sister has posed has also served as an ambassador for companies like Estee Lauder, Longchamp, Adidas and Calvin Klein.
