And on Thursday, Chris Hemsworth showcased a new side to the Marvel superhero while shooting scenes for the Hollywood blockbuster at Sydney’s Centennial Park.
Joined on set by one of his seven-year-old twin sons, the Aussie actor, 37, was seen in Thor’s signature blond wig – but rocked a much sportier look than the Norse god’s traditional gladiator-esque get-up.

Chris looked ready for an ’80s workout with red and white sweatbands. He also wore a black vest, grey sweatpants and black boots.
He engaged in conversation with the crew and kept a close eye on one of his twins, either Tristan or Sasha, whom he shares with wife Elsa Pataky.
His son wore a tie-dye top, sweatpants and sneakers, and played with an iPad given to him by an on-set staffer.

Production on Thor: Love and Thunder, also starring Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale and Matt Damon, began in January.
The film is being shot at Sydney’s Fox Studios but elaborate structures have also been set up at nearby Centennial Park and in the city’s western suburbs.
Chris, who has gained a legion of admirers for portraying superhero Thor, appears to have still not won over one of his sons, admitting on Tuesday his youngster’s allegiance lies with DC’s Superman.
He shared a cute photo from the Sydney set, which showed him holding hands with his little boy, who was wearing a Superman cape.
