LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers completed the upset against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night, sending the young team home in six games.
James was the subject of a lot of trash-talking from the Grizzlies, with Dillon Brooks attacking him nonstop. After the series was over, he ignored his rivals, but a couple of hours later, he sent a big message to the Grizzlies.
“If you ever see me fighting in the forest with a Grizzly bear, HELP THE BEAR ,” James wrote in an Instagram post.

This was a direct shot at the Grizzlies and those who doubted him during the series. The King isn’t one to mess with, and even though he didn’t go full beast mode, LeBron let people know that he’s far from done and whoever dares to disrespect him will pay the consequences.
The Grizzlies were just another victim of LeBron, who didn’t say much during the series and let his game do the talk. Now, he’s set to face another Californian team in the second round, ready to make another statement.
LeBron Is Fed Up With The Grizzlies’ Disrespect
During the series, Dillon Brooks heavily disrespected LeBron James, calling him old and somebody easy to guard. James exchanged some words with Brooks, who couldn’t take the pressure and folded, not even addressing the media following the elimination.
LeBron always played it cool and focused on the game. The result? The Lakers demolished the Grizzlies, sending them home in six games, closing out the series with a 40-point win. He also took to Twitter to keep taking shots at his rivals.
The Grizzlies had high expectations for this season, but they were the ones that poked the bear and when the beast stood up, they didn’t have any answer. LeBron didn’t have his best series, but he played solid basketball while leading his team to a big win over Memphis. As Darvin Ham said, this just started, and the Lakers are a serious threat.
