In one of her recent posts, the photographer posted photos of birth she ᴀᴛᴛᴇɴᴅᴇᴅ recently of a woman who gave birth in water and gave birth to her fourth child.
“A home birth story. A baby girl after three boys. I have thought about this birth many times as I wonder what my own fourth birth would be like. We ᴀʀʀɪᴠᴇᴅ in the late afternoon after all the older boys had already gone to bed. Once we arrived, we realized that the ᴅᴇʟɪᴠᴇʀʏ process would be ǫᴜɪᴄᴋ (even though the mother was in bed and ʙʀᴇᴀᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴄᴀʟᴍʟʏ). Shortly after, something ᴄʜᴀɴɢᴇᴅ, and she felt the need to ᴘᴜsʜ more sᴛʀᴏɴɢʟʏ. Mom got into the water, Dad was next to her helping her, and before we knew it, their fourth child and first daughter were in their arms. She was ᴛɪɴʏ, perfect, and ᴄᴏᴠᴇʀᴇᴅ in ꜰᴇᴛᴀʟ sᴇʙᴜᴍ. All three boys were asleep throughout this ᴘʀᴏᴄᴇss. When they woke up, they had a little sister.”
