Back in 2020, Maya spoke out about the traumatic night their family home was burgled as her husband played in the Premier League against Brentford.

The previous year, Lindelof was labelled a hero in his native Sweden after he chased after a thief who had stolen the handbag of his elderly aunt.
A bystander said: “Victor ran after the cyclist. Then came a couple of police cars. A moment later, Victor returned with a person whom the others said was the robber.
“He was incredible. He ran over footbridges and walls. It seemed that he had fantastic strength and form.”
