Chelsea ‘could rekindle their interest in Neymar after Todd Boehly enquired over his availability’
Chelsea could rekindle their interest in Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar this summer according to reports.
The 31-year-old joined the Ligue 1 side in 2017, and has been an integral part of the Parisian team winning four league trophies in that spell.
But according to the Mirror, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is set to oversee a change in approach this summer in a bid to finally win the Champions League and a number of first team players could head for the exit .
The reports claims Chelsea owner Todd Boehly held a meeting in February to probe Neymar’s availability and the Blues could rekindle their interest.
A second Premier League side are also said to be keen on Neymar, whose options out of Paris are set to be limited due to a number of issues which include his high salary and injury history.

Todd Boehly had a meeting to probe Neymar’s availability and could rekindle his interest
He moved from Barcelona to PSG nearly six years ago, in a world-record £200m deal, and his time with the club has helped them to increase their value to £2.7bn ($3.2bn).
A promising season for Neymar was ended by an ankle injury in February after scoring 18 goals and providing 17 assists in 29 games.
Since his record move to PSG, injuries to his groin, ankles, abductor muscles, ribs, hamstring, and a period suffering from Covid have at various times kept Neymar from playing.
His longest absence until now came in 2019, when the former Barcelona player fractured the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.
PSG were again unable to call on Neymar last month as they exited the Champions League in the hands of Bayern Munich in the last-16.
