He’s always been in good shape, but now with a steady stream of potential blockbusters ahead of him, Vin Diesel is getting bigger and buffer than he’s ever been before.
The star of The Fast And The Furious franchise posted a video on Facebook of his recent combat training sessions with Thai martial artist Tony Ja.
The sessions were to help prepare him for his outing as Dominic Toretto in the seventh Fast And Furious feature, which he is currently filming.

In the video, Diesel is taught to tumble during fight sequences while Ja shows the actor a series of impressive jumping high kicks.
The video than offers a montage of Diesel’s training, showing steady improvement with a series of small clips and pictures.
The actor is shirtless throughout the videos, showing off his new bulkier physique and six-pack abs.

The video was posted as a thank you to fans for helping the action star reach a milestone on his Facebook page: 50 million likes.
At the end of the video, Diesel wrote the message: ’50 million beautiful multicultural souls…welcome to the family. All love.’
Diesel notes in the video that the training was in preparation of his role in Furious 7, but it might come in handy elsewhere. It is rumoured that the actor may land a role in Marvel’s upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy film.

The XXX star has long been rumored to be up for the role of the Monarch of Planet X, Groot, a large tree creature which will require the actor to wear a motion-capture suit.
Recently, the head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige has stated that official word on Groot is ‘close.’
In addition to filming F&F7 and possibly landing a role as a Stan Lee creation, Diesel is also schedule to start production on XXX: The Return of Xander Cage sometime in 2014.
