Kylian Mbappé has refused to renew with PSG on more than one occasion. He is unclear about his future in Paris and Real Madrid is as usual on the prowl. But this decision, like all decisions, will also depend on what his family says.
Mbappé himself makes this clear in ’93 Famille’, a short documentary created by ‘COPA 90’ together with EA Sports in which he talks about life with his family and his youth in the Parisian Suburb. His father Wilfried Mbappé and his mother Fayza Lamari appear in it.

“We make all the decisions together, as a family. I think that’s as strong as it gets. This has pushed me higher and allowed me to be where I am today,” the striker says of the advice he always takes when he has to go one way or another.
He also tells how he has been supported by his parents: “Without them it would be impossible, because sometimes you have bad moments. When you have bad moments in your career, you can see which people are there for you and my parents are there for me at all times”.
Meanwhile, his father Wilfried speaks proudly about the PSG striker’s personality: “What makes us proud is to see that we were able to teach him certain values and to see that he has assimilated them. They are inside him when we treat him like a 21-year-old boy when he comes home. He’s not the star here, Kylian Mbappé, he’s just our son”.
