Understanding that his daughter could hear his voice even in her mother’s womb, the Brazilian Flávio made care to speak with her daily. When Antonella was born, she immediately recognized her father’s voice and smiled broadly at him.
The father characterized his sentiments for his newborn daughter as “a love that cannot fit in the chest.”
Very early in pregnancy, a developing fetus may detect noises from the outside world. Pregnant Brazilian father-to-be Flávio Dantas, like many other parents, converses with his or her st and listens to classical music.
When Flávio’s wife Tarsila was pregnant with their first child, Antonella, he made it a point to speak to their unborn daughter every day in the hopes that she would know his voice when she was born.
And the outcome was as he had hoped! When Antonella was born in 2019, she welcomed the world with a wide grin when she heard her father’s voice. This moment was captured in a wonderful photograph, which was recognized by the website Shared.
“I cannot explain the feeling I felt at that moment. Every day I talked to my daughter when she was in her mother’s ᴡᴏᴍʙ, I always told her that I loved her, that daddy was there and that I will be the best father in the world. When she was born, how did she repay me? But the most beautiful smile ever,” he writes in a touching post on Instagram.
The parents were of course overjoyed at their daughter’s arrival, and have showered her with love on their social media.
Now the cute family has a long and happy life ahead of them – hopefully filled with smiles!
