Emily Crossan, a 31-year-old nurse from Rugley, Staffordshire, outraged other parents when she compared her kid to a garden gnome. The Daily Star brought attention to the photo and comments that emerged in the parents-only Facebook group.
Crossan uploaded a three-year-old photo of her newborn baby, Isaac, with an amusing look — his mouth was wide open and his eyes were staring at the ceiling in amazement. If he wore a cap and carried a fishing rod, she said, “he could pass for a garden gnome.” The nurse stated that she was accustomed to “funny-looking” infants and that Isaac grew out of his “ugly baby” phase by six months.
The majority of people considered the British post to be humorous, and in reaction, they have uploaded humorous photos of their own children. Yet, other parents attacked Crossan and deemed the message “repulsive.” She was accused of making fun of a youngster by one woman.
Emily, however, brushed aside the criticism, stating that she loves her baby “more than anything” and looks forward to laughing with Isaac at these photographs as he grows older. “I posted these images to the Facebook parent group because I thought they were amusing and I wanted other parents to laugh as well,” she explained.
Previously, it was reported that a mom uploaded a photo of a letter she sent to her kid on behalf of the Tooth Fairy, which angered other parents. The mother attempted to deceive the youngster into cleaning the room.
