Serie A Winger Has Been Offered To Chelѕeα, But It’s Already Six Months Too Late.

The Sun are today reporting that Napoli winger Hirving Lozano has been offered to Chelsea for a summer transfer.

The Mexican was once a top prospect, but he’s now being outshone in Naples by Victor Osimhen and “Kvaradona.” Newcastle are also being linked, and they seem a much more likely destination, both in terms of stature and in terms of need, as they look to add depth for a European campaign next season.

Sometimes you really feel like our name is just thrown into these stories to generate clicks. We’ve heavily invested in wingers and attacking players, and need to shift at least two of them before we even think about signing another one.

A few years ago a move would have made sense, and we were heavily linked with him when he was at PSV, but he’s not really stood out in Serie A, and we can’t see Chelsea being interested now.
