Magical pictures capture the moment a boy helping his mom give birth holds the baby first and cuts the umbilical cord.

Certainly in our country we are not used to seeing such images, but abroad it is customary for older children – if they want to – to help their mother give birth, thus seeing their youngest sibling come into the world.

The photos posted on her personal Instagram account by mom thelavenderdoula herself , as her name is on the popular platform, are simply magical. There is no other word to describe the beauty of the moment when the older brother helps his mother give birth to his younger sister.

The photos were captured with her camera by @milkandhannah, as Hollie Lau comments under her post.

“Introducing baby Robin Indigo, born to her brother Charlie on May 16th at 4:13am.”

In the photos you will also see below, Charlie puts on his gloves and by the side of the midwife, he helps little Robin be born. Although both his dad and his younger brother are in the venue, he has taken on this role with great joy and enthusiasm.

But 9-year-old Charlie didn’t just help his sister come into the world, he also had the honor of cutting the umbilical cord.
