Bukayo Saka appears to troll Marcus Rashford with celebration after Arsenal wonder strike

Bukayo Saka bagged a stunning goal in Arsenal’s dramatic 3-2 win over Manchester United – and then appeared to troll Marcus Rashford by copying his opponent’s celebration.

Arsenal were out for revenge at the Emirates against Manchester United, who are still the only side who have managed to beat them in the Premier League this term.

And while the Gunners were eventually triumphant on a pivotal afternoon in the title race, they found themselves behind after just 17 minutes courtesy of Rashford’s thunderous strike. Eddie Nketiah quickly restored parity for the hosts before Saka nudged them into the lead with curling effort from range in the opening minutes of the second-half.

Lisandro Martinez, a former Arsenal transfer target, looked to have ensured the spoils would be shared before Nketiah popped up to bag a late, late winner for Mikel Arteta’s side, who restored their five point lead over Manchester City at the summit of the Premier League.

It was Saka’s sumptuous strike early in the second-half that turned the tide in Arsenal’s favour – and his mischievous celebration sent fans wild on social media.

The England winger opted to copy Rashford by standing in front of the crowd and pointing to the side of his head: the same celebration that his international team-mate has adopted over the past few months.

Nketiah’s late strike, which survived a VAR check for offside, means that the Gunners still have a healthy cushion at the top over Manchester City, who have also played a game more than Arteta’s side.

Former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas believes that Sunday’s victory could go a long way in defining their season as they chase the Premier League crown – but conceded that there is “still a long way to go” for the Gunners as they dream of ending their agonising 19-year title drought.

The Spaniard told Sky Sports after the match: “It was a great, great victory, the way it happened. We were talking before the game about there being games that define seasons, it’s still a long way to go, you speak to Mikel and for sure he will tell you that, but as a player sometimes you cannot really explain it in words but you can feel that something special is happening. You can feel it together and you can feel the Emirates booming.

“The passion that this team shows week-in week-out, we were just talking about can they come back from difficult moments – today showed us that they can, it was top, top mentality from them and will give them a push for the rest of the season on a high.”
