The $3 Million Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Hypercar Is A New Level Of Insanity

The F5 Revolution is an aggressive track-focused evolution of the already wicked 300+ MPH Hennessey Venom F5 American hypercar.

Hennessey Performance is pushing the limits of American hypercars with the wicked Venom F5 Revolution. Before we look into why this hypercar from Hennessey is out-worldly, let’s look back at how America has always played catch up with Europeans in the hypercar race.

The hypercar space has always been populated with the likes of mad European cars from the house of KoenigseggBugatti, and Ferrari to name a few. Sports cars and supercars with raw “muscle” have always been America’s forte. But the Hennessey Venom F5 is a hypercar that changed the notion of America’s fastest supercars with insane performance, exotic design, and impressive technology.

And now, with the F5 Revolution, a bold new chapter begins. This is a revolution of the already mental 300+ MPH Venom F5. It evolves with a more track-focused approach. The F5 Venom Revolution gets aggressive aero bits, reworked suspension, lighter and wider tires, and loses weight. Hennessey has retained its Fury V8 engine without any performance bump.

The Venom F5 Revolution interior also gets cleverly upgraded to fuse luxury, exotic appeal, and pure driving pleasure. And the most impressive part is that the Venom F5 Revolution’s heart is not adulterated. Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution is here to make the likes of Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+, SSC Tuatara, Lotus Evija, and Rimac Nevera a taste of American madness!

The “standard” Venom F5 is already a wild hypercar that takes American supercar madness to a whole new level. And now, Hennessey Performance has outdone itself with the wilder Venom F5 Revolution. It is essentially an F5 Venom stripped of unwanted weight and given a lot more on the aerodynamic front.

In short, it is lighter and sharper; and that’s a recipe for hooliganism! The Venom F5 Revolution weighs in at below 3,000 pounds, making it the lightest F5 Venom yet. Dialing the aggression even further is evolved aerodynamics that makes sure the Venom stays glued to the tarmac not only on the straights but also through corners.

It gets a new front carbon-fiber splitter that prevents air to flow from under, thus creating a low-pressure area. This is a simpler version of what the likes of the insane McMurtry Speirling and the highly anticipated Gordon Murray Automotive T.50 are achieving with the rear-mounted fan.

As the F5 Revolution is a mad machine made for enduring longer track hours, Hennessey has revamped the cooling for its beastly engine by adding a new central air scoop on the aerodynamic front. Another serious aero upgrade comes in the form of an adjustable carbon fiber rear wing. It is capable of providing 1,400 pounds of downforce at 249 mph. The clever adjustment feature has allowed Hennessey to attain insane downforce numbers without slapping on a huge wing.

Venom F5 Revolution Gets The “Furious” 1,817-HP 6.6-Liter V8Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution front third quarter accelerating viewHennessey Performance

The 6.6-Liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine in the standard Venom F5 was already beating above its weight. And so, Hennessey has not fiddled with the fire-breather in the Revolution. The “Fury” engine continues to churn out 1,817 hp @ 8,000 RPM and 1,193 lb-ft @ 5,000 RPM.

This behemoth powers the rear wheels via an automated single-clutch gearbox. The transmission has been reworked to be more aggressive for track use. Keeping this insane engine tractable for long track days is a reworked cooling system.

While the engine remains unchanged, Hennessey did tweak every other piece of hardware to take a lot more beating. The double-wishbone suspension system gets stiffened to improve stability and cornering speeds. But the best part is that it is flexible enough with adjustable dampers to keep you comfy on the road or the racetrack.

The brakes have been upgraded to carbon ceramic units that get bitten by multi-piston calipers for stronger and more efficient stopping power. The F5 Revolution also gets new forged wheels that reduced the unsprung mass and improved contact patch.

This Track-Ready Venom F5 Is America’s Wildest Supercar YetHennessey Venom F5 Revolution side viewHennessey Performance

It is a Herculean task to evolve something that is already tipping the scale of insanity! But Hennessey has hit it out of the park with the Venom F5 Revolution. The most impressive aspect of this American hypercar is that it still uses pure-gasoline power. No hybridization here. And that, in this age of restriction, it is an applaudable feat.

The hours of track days and racing pedigree that have been utilized to develop the Venom F5 Revolution make it a personal affair for Hennessey Performance’s Chief Engineer – John ‘Heinrocket’ Heinricy.

The owners of America’s wildest supercar get an onboard track telemetry system in the cabin. This digital display shows insane amounts of data that the driver will ever need on the tracks. It gets lap times, split times, and cornering G-forces to name a few.

The interior strikes a cool balance of being sporty, track-focused, and exotic. The fixed bucket seats, the radial half-steering wheel, and everything in between are made of carbon fiber. The exposed carbon goes along dramatically with the soothing satin leather upholstery around the cabin.
